Ryzen 5 2400GE vs Core i7-10810U benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-10810U performs better than the Ryzen 5 2400GE. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 2400GE in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-10810U has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 5 2400GE. Indeed, the Core i7-10810U has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 5 2400GE. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 2400GE. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 2400GE has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10810U. Despite this, the Core i7-10810U has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-10810U outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 2400GE thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 2400GE has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-10810U. Despite this, the Core i7-10810U has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 2400GE.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 2400GE has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
