Quadro K2000M vs Quadro K5100M specs and performance
For gaming, the Quadro K5100M graphics card is better than the Quadro K2000M in our tests.
The Quadro K5100M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro K5100M has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro K2000M has a significantly lower TDP at 55 W when compared to the Quadro K5100M at 100 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro K5100M is better than the Quadro K2000M.
