GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop vs GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU is faster than the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop in gaming.
The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop has significantly more memory with 5.97 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop has a slightly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop at 80 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop over the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop.
