Ryzen 9 4900H vs Core i7-11700K benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11700K is faster than the Ryzen 9 4900H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 9 4900H in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-11700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 9 4900H. Also, the Core i7-11700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 9 4900H CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-11700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Core i7-11700K also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 9 4900H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
