It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 7430U. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7840U has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 7430U. Also, the Ryzen 7 7840U has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 7430U outputs less heat than Ryzen 7 7840U thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 7 7840U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 5 7430U. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
