Ryzen 7 7700X vs Core i5-14600T benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-14600T performs better than the Ryzen 7 7700X. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 7700X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-14600T has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 7 7700X. Indeed, the Core i5-14600T has 14 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen 7 7700X. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 7700X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7700X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-14600T. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 7 7700X also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 7700X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
