Ryzen 7 4700U vs Xeon E5-2690 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 7 4700U is faster than the Xeon E5-2690. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2690 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Xeon E5-2690 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-2690 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 4700U. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 4700U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 7 4700U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2690 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
