Ryzen 7 4700U vs Core 5 210H comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 7 4700U is faster than the Core 5 210H. Despite this, the Core 5 210H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core 5 210H has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core 5 210H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 4700U. Also, the Core 5 210H has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core 5 210H has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 7 4700U. The Core 5 210H also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 7 4700U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
