Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G vs Xeon X5647 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G performs better than the Xeon X5647. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5647 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon X5647. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G has significantly more L2 cache than the Xeon X5647. Despite this, the Xeon X5647 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
