The Ryzen 7 4700U outputs less heat than Ryzen 5 2400G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 4700U has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 2400G. The Ryzen 7 4700U also has significantly more L3 cache.
