Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G vs Xeon E3-1245 V2 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G performs better than the Xeon E3-1245 V2. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E3-1245 V2 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Xeon E3-1245 V2 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E3-1245 V2. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has more L2 cache than the Xeon E3-1245 V2. Despite this, the Xeon E3-1245 V2 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
