In our benchmarks, the Core i7-6950X beats the Ryzen 3 3300X in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3300X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-6950X has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 3300X.
