Ryzen 3 3100 vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G is faster than the Ryzen 3 3100. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350G has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3100. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Ryzen 3 3100 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3100 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
