Radeon RX 6800 XT vs RTX A4000 benchmarks
For gaming, the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card is better than the RTX A4000 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6800 XT has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6800 XT also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 16 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the RTX A4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 140 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6800 XT at 300 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6800 XT over the RTX A4000.
