Radeon RX 6750 XT vs GeForce RTX 5050 specs and performance
For gaming, the Radeon RX 6750 XT graphics card is better than the GeForce RTX 5050 in our tests.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 5050 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Radeon RX 6750 XT has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 5050 has a significantly lower TDP at 130 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6750 XT at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6750 XT is faster than the GeForce RTX 5050.
