Radeon RX 6700 XT vs RTX A4000 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the RTX A4000 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 6700 XT in gaming.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700 XT also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
As stated by the manufacturer, the RTX A4000 has slightly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 12 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the RTX A4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 140 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6700 XT at 230 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the RTX A4000 is better than the Radeon RX 6700 XT.
