Radeon RX 6600 vs GeForce GTX 1060 5GB comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6600 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 1060 5GB in gaming.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6600 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6600 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1060 5GB has a slightly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6600 at 132 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 6600 is better than the GeForce GTX 1060 5GB.
