Radeon RX 580X vs GeForce RTX 4070 Ti benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 580X in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Radeon RX 580X has a significantly lower TDP at 185 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti at 285 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is faster than the Radeon RX 580X.
