Radeon RX 5700 XT vs GeForce RTX 3090 Ti specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 5700 XT in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 5700 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has significantly more memory with 24 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT has a significantly lower TDP at 225 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at 450 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is faster than the Radeon RX 5700 XT.
