Radeon R9 350 vs Quadro K5100M comparison

For gaming, the Quadro K5100M graphics card is better than the Radeon R9 350 in our tests.

The Radeon R9 350 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro K5100M has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Radeon R9 350 has a significantly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the Quadro K5100M at 100 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Quadro K5100M over the Radeon R9 350.
