Radeon R5 vs Quadro RTX 5000 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Quadro RTX 5000 beats the Radeon R5 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the Quadro RTX 5000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Quadro RTX 5000 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the Radeon R5 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 5000 at 230 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro RTX 5000 is better than the Radeon R5.
