Quadro K6000 vs Quadro M5000 benchmarks
For gaming, the Quadro M5000 graphics card is better than the Quadro K6000 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Quadro M5000 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Quadro M5000 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro K6000 has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro M5000 has a significantly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the Quadro K6000 at 225 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Quadro M5000 over the Quadro K6000.
