Pentium G4400T vs Pentium G860 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium G860 performs better than the Pentium G4400T. Despite this, the Pentium G4400T has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium G860 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Pentium G4400T. A Pentium G4400T CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G860 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium G4400T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
