N150 vs Xeon X3440 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon X3440 performs better than the N150. Despite this, the N150 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Xeon X3440 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X3440 has a significantly higher clock speed than the N150. In terms of cache, the N150 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Xeon X3440. Despite this, the Xeon X3440 has slightly more L3 cache compared to the N150.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the N150 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
