Iris 5100 vs UHD 630 specs and performance
For gaming, the UHD 630 graphics card is better than the Iris 5100 in our tests.
The UHD 630 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the UHD 630 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the UHD 630 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Iris 5100 at 30 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the UHD 630 over the Iris 5100.
