GeForce RTX 3080 vs Quadro K6000 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 3080 beats the Quadro K6000 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the GeForce RTX 3080 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3080 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro K6000 has slightly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 10 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro K6000 has a slightly lower TDP at 225 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3080 at 320 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3080 is better than the Quadro K6000.
