GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop vs RTX A1000 Laptop specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop graphics card is better than the RTX A1000 Laptop in our tests.

The GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop has a much higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the RTX A1000 Laptop has a slightly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop at 80 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop is faster than the RTX A1000 Laptop.
