GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop vs Radeon RX 6700 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 6700 beats the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6700 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6700 has significantly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 5.97 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6700 over the GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop.
