GeForce RTX 2080 vs UHD 630 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2080 beats the UHD 630 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 2080 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2080 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the UHD 630 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 2080 over the UHD 630.
