GeForce RTX 2080 vs Radeon RX 6750 XT comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6750 XT GPU is faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 in gaming.
The Radeon RX 6750 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6750 XT also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6750 XT has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, both the GeForce RTX 2080 and the Radeon RX 6750 XT have an identical TDP. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6750 XT over the GeForce RTX 2080.
