GeForce RTX 2060 vs Radeon RX 5600M specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 5600M in our tests.

The GeForce RTX 2060 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2060 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 6 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Radeon RX 5600M has a slightly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2060 at 160 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2060 is better than the Radeon RX 5600M.
