GeForce MX130 vs GeForce GTX 950M specs and performance
For gaming, the GeForce GTX 950M graphics card is better than the GeForce MX130 in our tests.
The GeForce MX130 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce MX130 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the GeForce MX130 has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 950M at 75 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 950M is faster than the GeForce MX130.
