GeForce MX130 vs GeForce GT 720M specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce MX130 beats the GeForce GT 720M in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the GeForce MX130 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce MX130 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the GeForce MX130 has a slightly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the GeForce GT 720M at 33 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce MX130 is better than the GeForce GT 720M.
