GeForce GTX 770 vs GeForce MX230 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 770 beats the GeForce MX230 in gaming performance.
The GeForce MX230 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce MX230 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the GeForce MX230 has a significantly lower TDP at 10 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 770 at 230 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 770 is faster than the GeForce MX230.
