GeForce GTX 760 vs Quadro K5100M comparison

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 760 graphics card is better than the Quadro K5100M in our tests.

Our database shows that the GeForce GTX 760 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro K5100M has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Quadro K5100M has a significantly lower TDP at 100 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 760 at 170 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GTX 760 over the Quadro K5100M.
