GeForce GTX 650 vs GeForce RTX 3090 Ti comparison

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 650 in our tests.

Our database shows that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has significantly more memory with 24 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly lower TDP at 64 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at 450 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is faster than the GeForce GTX 650.
