GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER vs Radeon VII benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon VII GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon VII has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER has a significantly lower TDP at 125 W when compared to the Radeon VII at 300 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon VII over the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER.
