GeForce GTX 1070 vs Quadro T1000 Max-Q specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 1070 beats the Quadro T1000 Max-Q in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 1070 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce GTX 1070 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Quadro T1000 Max-Q has a significantly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1070 at 150 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 1070 is faster than the Quadro T1000 Max-Q.
