GeForce GTX 1070 vs P106-100 specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card is better than the P106-100 in our tests.

Our database shows that both the GeForce GTX 1070 and P106-100 both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the P106-100 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the P106-100 has a slightly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1070 at 150 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1070 is better than the P106-100.
