GeForce GTX 1060 vs GeForce GTX 1660 Ti comparison

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 1060 in our tests.

The GeForce GTX 1060 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

As stated by the manufacturer, they both have the same amount of memory at 6 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, both the GeForce GTX 1060 and the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is better than the GeForce GTX 1060.
