In our benchmarks, the T1000 beats the GeForce GT 740 in gaming performance.
In addition, the T1000 has a slightly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the GeForce GT 740 at 64 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
