GeForce GT 730 vs GeForce RTX 3090 Ti specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card is better than the GeForce GT 730 in our tests.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has significantly more memory with 24 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the GeForce GT 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 49 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at 450 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti over the GeForce GT 730.
