In our benchmarks, the Tesla T4 beats the GeForce GT 1030 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce GT 1030 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Tesla T4 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the GeForce GT 1030 has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the Tesla T4 at 70 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
