Core i9-12900K vs Ryzen 7 7700X benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-12900K is faster than the Ryzen 7 7700X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 7700X in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i9-12900K has significantly more cores with 16 cores compared to the Ryzen 7 7700X that has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 7700X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7700X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i9-12900K. Also, the Ryzen 7 7700X has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 7700X outputs less heat than Core i9-12900K thanks to a significantly lower TDP.
