Core i9-10900F vs Core i5-14500T benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-14500T performs better than the Core i9-10900F. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i9-10900F in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-14500T has slightly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Core i9-10900F has 10 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i9-10900F has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-14500T. Also, the Core i9-10900F has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-14500T has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i9-10900F. The Core i5-14500T also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i9-10900F has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
