Core i7-9750H vs CoreT i5-1340P specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9750H is faster than the CoreT i5-1340P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the CoreT i5-1340P in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the CoreT i5-1340P has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Core i7-9750H that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-9750H. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-9750H has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the CoreT i5-1340P. In terms of cache, the CoreT i5-1340P has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-9750H. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i7-9750H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
