Core i7-9700T vs Xeon Silver 4110 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9700T is faster than the Xeon Silver 4110. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon Silver 4110 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Xeon Silver 4110 has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon Silver 4110 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700T. Despite this, the Core i7-9700T has a significantly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-9700T CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon Silver 4110 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i7-9700T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
