Core i7-9700T vs Xeon E5-2680 v3 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E5-2680 v3 performs better than the Core i7-9700T. Despite this, the Core i7-9700T has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon E5-2680 v3 has significantly more cores than the Core i7-9700T. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2680 v3 has 12 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Core i7-9700T. It also has more threads than the Core i7-9700T. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-2680 v3 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-9700T. Despite this, the Core i7-9700T has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-9700T CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2680 v3 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
