Core i7-9700T vs Core i7-10870H comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10870H is faster than the Core i7-9700T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-9700T in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-10870H has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-10870H has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700T. Also, the Core i7-10870H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-9700T CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-10870H CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i7-9700T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
