Core i7-9700T vs Core i5-9300HF specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9700T is faster than the Core i5-9300HF. Despite this, the Core i5-9300HF has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-9700T has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i5-9300HF that has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-9300HF has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700T.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
